Roasting
Lazy Sunday is light roast that is easy on the palate. It mellows and becomes warm to your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew while Africa adds citrus notes for balance. The result is a cup that is delicious on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It is a great match with vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.
When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel using some of the boil water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. After brewing, let the coffee infuse for 4 minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds are filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Do not stir or agitate your coffee, as this could cause unpleasant elements to appear in the cup.
